Extra protection (charms, enchantments, whatever defenses/warning methods) would have been placed around each household where family lives, although I don't think they would have gone so drastic as a secret-keeper yet. Every adult would have a charm of some sort to activate/communicate with others in case of trouble, either at home or out of the house - I imagine there's a way to create these so that muggles could also activate them; perhaps it's a matter of a signal going out (for them) when two are placed together, or.. anyway, there's a way. Kids are being mainly kept in the house/yard except with appropriate escorts (not the muggle parents).
The following is the way I see the households being divided during the days; whether they want to pick one adult's house to go to every day, or alternate, or whatever. Each household has two magic adults (I'm trying to find another adult, or other extra protection, for Matthew/Theodore/Sylvie's at home kids). In the evenings/nonwork hours I imagine just the families together - two magical parents and their kids - with Paul + Stacy's families staying together, and Melinda + Gary's families staying together, to make two magic adults in each house). And adult non-married children staying at their parents houses.
Of course - this is only a draft. I've penciled Constance in as an ...she'd probably have been asked to do this.... but not a definite until I know what her response would have been! And, I've put in what Sylvie's initial suggestion for daytimes to Evan and Olivia would have been - but, again, not final until I know what their response would be.
Other question: would there have been any pull on Stacy to keep herself/her kids with the Wexlers instead?
So without further explanation, the draft:
Daytimes/work hours:
Matthew + Theodore - Delaney (10), Vanessa (6), Andrew (4), Judith (0).
Julie + Melinda (muggle, preg.) + ?Constance??? - Benedict (9), Eleanora (8), Emilia (4), Justinian (2)
Eleyn's nanny/tutor + Stacy (muggle) + Miranda (Sheldon) Talison - Lillian (10), Tobias (8), Marcus (8), Tiffany (4), Arthur (2), Hector Talison (6), Victoria Talison (2)
?Olivia's nanny??? + Jillian + Jillian's nanny/maid/person - Christopher (6), Jason (4), Arista (2), Melia (0), Bradley (3), Connor (0).
Evenings/non work hours by families once both parents are home from work, except:
Paul + Stacy's families combine
Melinda + Gary's families combine

Because Colin is a more distant relative, he wouldn't be staying at Eva's - I assume his branch of the family would sort that out for themselves, so it would be up to Colin and Stacy to decide whether they'd stay with his family or hers. I really hadn't thought about what any of them would be doing to protect themselves, but assumed it would be much the same as what Eva and family are pulling together.
Constance would probably be willing to help, though she'd want to spend at least some daytime hours doing networking and getting her name out there. The nature of what she's aspiring to allows her a lot of flexibility and I think family loyalty would win out when she was particularly needed.
Olivia's nanny is Cybele, and she works four full days a week (I want to say she has either Wednesday or Thursday afternoon off as well as her weekend days), so she would probably be willing to have assistance with the kiddos and give assistance.
I can't see either of those two objecting to any of the proposed plan! Olivia would do anything to keep her family (and extended family) safe, and Constance has a strong sense of duty and loyalty which would overpower any ambitious interests.
They can arrange it so Constance gets time to network - Sylvie wouldn't want to prevent her daughter from being successful! If nothing else, Douglas and.. whoever Melinda's married too.. can switch working odd hours, so one of them will be home to give Constance time to get out without worrying that SHE'S the one leaving a set short-handed.
